sunday/todayish

Oh the weather outside is BEAUTIFUL and the bugs are not delightful, but camp is fantastic so far.

Yesterday was a very programming filled day.

In the morning we went to a three rotational program about what we want to do for the camp, gender issues, and how to deal with kids at all the different ages. Then we went to another program and talked about what type of people we were when we were younger and what ways we learn different things and figured out what we can do to help them. They weren't very exciting programs. Everyone was very tired.

For services, we had this "art" service where the songleaders were playing softly behind the Rosh T'Fillah who was saying some of the prayers in Hebrew and English. Everyone got a piece of paper and drew a picture of whatever they wanted. It was really nice and peaceful. The service went pretty well.

Then since we had a day filled with programming we had a pool party to finish it off. Everyone took their swim tests and im pretty sure everyone passed. It was one of the easiet swim tests I had ever taken, but I passed and thats all that matters. There is also this really awesome huge water slide which looks like so much fun to go down.

After that we had siyum and then a bunch of us went to go and hang with the Israelis at the motel. It was pretty good.

Today i've just been doing a bunch of songleading stuff and that seems to be the plan today. I have the bogrim age group which are the 7th and 8th graders, so I'm pretty stoked.

Have a good day shalom!
